The Oppo Find X8 Pro has a problem with the norm, which states that only three cameras are needed in a smartphone flagship. The iPhone 16 Pro and Google Pixel 9 Pro have held on to the philosophy being best in class the ever broader mobile photography market.

The Oppo Find X8 Pro has several features, among them is its Camera configuration, which consists of a main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, a 3x telephoto lens and a 6x telephoto lens. With each lens integrated with a 50MP sensor, on all zoom levels good image quality is guaranteed.
The most outstanding feature is definitely the 6x telephoto lens, which offers zooming like never before. It is great at taking shots of subjects that are further out and are at mid to high zoom levels, the detail captured is impressive. The phone is able to produce good imagery even after utilizing digital zoom which surpasses 40x, although some people find the imaging enhancement too much at times.
A high resolution alternative is also available for those wishing to see the unedited result. In this mode, one can achieve real optical zoom of 0.6 times, 1x, 3x and 6x and be able to retrieve stunning 50MP images. In this case, the hardware is at its optimum performance without heavily relying on digital zoom.

The dual telephoto lenses greatly enhance the sub sector of portrait photography. It can be deduced from this review and my personal opinion that the fourth camera is not just an extra feature but a useful receiver. The thickness of the additional telephoto lens enhances creative potential which a standard triple-camera setup cannot get close to achieving.
As a phone reviewer, I’ve come to appreciate quad-camera arrangements as an easy and beneficial feature. From this point on, I am looking for models designed in this four-camera fashion. Oppo has demonstrated with the Find X8 Pro that sometimes, indeed, more is better when it is appropriate to the context.
